WEEKLY TASTING MENU
Friday, January 24th:
Dial Tone Chardonnay: $28.99
The wine clearly reveals the character of the vintage: elegant and refreshing, featuring a delightful blend of pear, apple, and citrus flavors, with a subtle touch of grapefruit. It carries hints of freshly grated ginger, lemon balm, and a crisp sea salt minerality. The finish reveals intricate notes of fresh herbs like lemongrass, adding a layer of complexity to the experience.
Brady Vineyard Cabernet Franc: $24.99
The 2018 Brady Vineyard Cabernet Franc is exuberant. Featuring a deep scarlet color and aromas reminiscent of black cherry, plum, and subtle notes of vanilla and cedar . On tasting, it shows opulent texture, gentle acidity, and savory bramble flavors. With a hint of velvety oak that l engthens the finish. Enjoy with smoked or roasted meats, sharp cheeses and dishes with rich sauces.
Lieu Dit Cabernet Sauvignon: $34.99
The Lieu Dit 2022 Cabernet Sauvignon, made from organically grown grapes from California's Santa Ynez Valley AVA, is a wonderfully refreshing (pun intended) expression of California Cabernet. Fruit forward and light on its feet, this wine is true to varietal, but leaner and brighter than most California Cabs and that makes it a joy to drink with our without food.
Smokescreen "The Chemist": $22.99
The 2019 Chemist is a blend of GSM, Petite Sirah and our newest member, Teroldego. The Chemist has a deep, inky purple color and aromas of berry cobbler, blackberry and tobacco. On the palate the Chemist is a big, bold, racy wine with tons of black fruits, tar, graphite and a long finish with ultra-fine tannins. Although powerful, it is nuanced and elegant as Chemist fans expect, and is going to evolve gracefully.
Saturday, January 25th:
Central Coast Wine Works Grenache Blanc: $22.99

A clean and fruity, dry white wine with notes of ripe mango, white peaches, and hints of passion fruit and elderflowers. Medium bodied, with balanced acidity, firm tannins, and a clean, crisp finish.
Albarino: $22.99

Extremely fresh aromas of lime, lemon soda, light peach and wet stone draw the nose into this single-vineyard expression. The palate is refreshing in acidity and vibrant with nectarine, gardenia and citrus zest flavors
Jaffurs Santa Barbara Pinot Noir: $37.99

The 2019 Pinot Noir shows cherry, sage, and orange peel aromatics. Core flavors of sweet red fruit are supported by black tea and Asian spice. Vibrant acidity, and partial stem inclusion provide structure throughout, leading to a long and savory finish. Though this wine should age gracefully for years to come, it is made to be open and enjoyable in its youth.
Jaffurs Santa Barbara Grenache: $37.99

The 2017 Grenache carries on our tradition of producing focused, intriguing Grenaches that taste great upon release, but also evolve with age. Ruby red in color and medium weight. Showing aromatics of raspberry and garrigue, with darker fruits and savory spice on the palate. Partial stem inclusion through the fermentation provides texture and complexity. Aged in used barrels for 10 months, this wine highlights the purity of the Grenache grape, and is a great companion with a wide range of foods.
Bien Nacido Syrah: $55.99

Expertly integrated aromas of blackberry, elderberry, violet and lilac are spiced by black pepper and wood shavings on the full and fruity nose of this bottling from an iconic vineyard. The palate is lavish in texture and loaded with flavors of cocoa, coffee bean, baked black fruits and more of that spicy pepper.
